The Universe is a wonderful place with many awes of the Cosmos. There are many different ways that the Travelling Telescope can share these adventures with the rest of the World. Tools like the telescopes are used during the Star Safari services, and Simulations of the Universe are used in the Planetarium Services.

Do you want to go out into the wild and experience camping under the dark skies of East Africa? Join one of our Star Safaris.

You can also experience the wonders of the universe in Nairobi using a virtual Universe at the Nairobi Planetarium.

Star Safari Monthly at Bunduz Camp

Once every month, the Travelling Telescope partners with Bunduz Safari & Camp to give you a one-night camping experience under the stars. The campsite is near Corner Baridi.

Star Safari Wild

Join us in the wild, where we have unpolluted dark skies, far from cities or towns. Your neighbours for the night could be elephants, lions, gazelles, as we all share the wonders of the night.

Private Star Safari

We can join your adventures with friends and family who want to experience a personalised tour of the night sky. Whether it’s camping or an evening star-gazing session.

The Nairobi Planetarium

On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, there are planetarium sessions at the Nairobi Planetarium. These sessions utilise a simulated Universe and award-winning planetarium documentaries to bring the wonders of the cosmos to life.
One can also consult about privately booked sessions.

Mobile Planetarium

The planetarium experience can also be taken to your home or school by using our mobile planetarium.

Star Safari for Students

Stargazing experience can also be done at school in the evening.
If the school is taking the students on a camping trip, we can also join with our stargazing sessions.
